#WritersCoffeeClub 3/22. How do you organise your notes?

It would be a lie if I said I don't make notes but it varies.

Mostly, when I'm pantsing, I have an open document on Scrivener where I might make notes, usually names. I might put down ideas for the future but if I do they don't usually happen.

Some stories I might make some notes in advance just to clarify my thinking. Again, most of it never happens.

But if it's a story that needs thorough planning, I use text docs, spreadsheets, and I recently tried Milanote which probably would work but my machine's too slow for the number of cards. (Also it needs to implement hashtags, which is on the development list but not available yet. The idea being that I could tag a scene card with character names and locations then show only ones for a character to show their throughline.)
