@SPCmovienight Superbad is an "okay" "comedy" from its era, but it's actually a totally fucking great comedy for movie night. It was a series of moments that generally connected together and amounted to something by the end. For its era, it was more of a thing that existed, but after about 20 years it aged so much better considering how much comedies don't even exist anymore, or were too desperate to "mean something" these days.
Pirates of Silicon Valley was also a pretty decent biopic, considering how gay and retarded biopics are these days. It was clearly a "condense 100 real life moments into one scene" kind of thing, but it worked. Its only downside is that it was made too soon, but then again it works for all the information that was compiled up to around 1999. Again, works better as a movie night movie than if viewed on its own.
21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street would still make for a great movie night, I think no one remembers how good those movies are anymore.
